Tuesday's Quote #4

   Hello dear readers!

First of all I apologize for uploading this post so late, I have been feeling sick and, to be honest, I spent the day sleeping so I totally forgot to blog! I'm sorry!!

However, I have a disney quote I found on tumblr and I want you all to really think about it. I did and it was very motivational!

Please tell me what you think about it!

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

My Monday Inspiration: Miley Cyrus

Hello cuties! Today I have another "My Monday Inspiration". This time, the person I'll be talking about is Miley Cyrus. However, I'll be talking about her style before she cut her hair. Not that I don't like her new cut, I think it suits her very well, but because I think her style has changed so much since then that I could do a whole another post on her new style.

   So here we go:

  • First I have the bohemian-chic Miley. As you can see in the pictures, she is wearing flowy clothes and a lot of cute dainty necklaces. I especially like the skirt she is wearing in the second picture, it is so summery and cute!

  • Then we have edgy Miley, the one that wears clothes more on the "rocky" style. I don't usually like these kinds of clothes, but I love both of the outfits in the pictures. She is wearing the same black studed shorts but with a different top. I like the neon one better, but the white one is also very cute. This outfits are perfect if you want to stand out as everyone will notice you if you wear them.

  • Lastly we have the more everyday looks. In both pictures she is wearing high waisted shorts, which are super in and are perfect to wear in the summer, and a top. In the first picture she is wearing a crop top and in the second one a sleeveless top. She finished off the outfit with tons of dainty necklaces, whcih makes them look more put together.

I hope you enjoyed today's post and please leave suggestions in the comments!

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

Loves of the Week #4

Hello lovelies! I hope you had an amazing week. Mine was a little boring as I didn't had much to do but I loved it anyways.

This week I don't have as many favorites but I thought I would share the few I have.

   1. First I have a Catrice nail polish in the color "Rasperry Fields Forever". First of all, how cute is that name? Most adorable nail polish name I have ever seen!! And the formula of these nail polishes is very good. It dries really quickly, which I like, and after two cotes you are good to go!

   2. Another favorite of mine is quotes. This week I have been really into finding cute quotes that I can relate to and I have saved them so that I can remember them later.

   3. Lastly I have "Sam and Cat". It is a kind of childish show but I love watching it. Ariana Grande is my idol so, of course, I had to watch this tv-show. But I love it, it's super funny and I like that the episodes are short and I don't have to stop everything just to watch it.

Which were your favorites this week? Please tell me in the comments!

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

Throwback Thursday: 90210

Hello sweeties! Today I have another throwback thursday. However, this is a "recent" one as in this tv-show ended not too long ago.

Yes, it's 90210! (Like you didn't know already).

I loved this show so much. However, I will admit it had its ups and downs. Some episodes (most of them) were fenomenal, absolutely amazing and had my complete attention from the beginning until the end, but others were just not as good. I don't remember any bad episode, but there were some that just seemed to be there so the next one would be great.

My all time favorite couple was, with no doubt, Naomi and Liam. They were so perfect for each other and I was so sad when they didn't end up together! Actually, I was pretty sad with the last episode itself as I think it was a little rushed. But I understand because the show was cancelled when no one was really expecting.

Anyways... They were just so cute and sexy and I feel like they had chemestry, on the contrary to Annie and Liam, who were just boring.

Were you a big 90210 fan? I was!

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

Review: Syoss Hair Coloration (Blonde)

Hello lovelies! Today I have a post about hair, mine to be more precisely.

So I am a natural blonde, always been and I have never painted my hair (until now if the story I am about to tell you counts). However, I am a dark blonde because my hair has been getting darker and darker throughout the years.

As a proud blonde ( I love my hair color) when asked I would always say I'm blonde. But some people would be like "Your hair is not blonde, you are clearly brunnette" and then I would try to tell them my story, but they wouldn't listen.

So yesterday, when I was at my best friend's house (she has the same "problem" as me), we decided we would paint our hair a little lighter, just enough to seem like it was due to the sun and so people would stop thinking we are brunnettes. I had heard lovely things about the Syoss Hair Coloration and so we bought the one I will show you below:

I also know there is one that is a "lightner" one but at our drugstore it was sold out so we had to buy the one that was made to really color the hair.

Since we are both dark blondes and we didn't want to make a huge change on our colour, instead of the supposed 20 minutes we left the product on only for 15. However, it did not change our hair colour very much at all.

I would say that I liked the product just because it did what I wanted it to do, but if you are looking to paint your whole hair with it (instead of just the ends like we did) then I would not recommend it. It's true that I did not leave it on for the amount of time that it is supposed to but 15 minutes should be enough to at leats be noticible to others that we had done something to our hair. And it wasn't.

Have you tried this product? What do you think about it?

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

Cutest Quote I have Ever Seen!

Hello cuties! So today I was spending my morning on tumblr (as usual...) and I stumbled upon this lovely quote. Even though the quote day was yesterday, I had to share this with you!

First of all, the edit looks so pretty and then, the quote itself is just magical. Makes me happy. It is just a legend, I know, but won't we all just be happier if we believe this? Probably.

I don't care if it's not true because from now on I will believe it. Why? Because it makes me feel safe, happy and loved and those are some of the most important things in life.

I am sorry for this "cheesy" post but I just HAD to publish it :)

   Lots of love,
   Cheesy Patricia :)

Tuesday's Quote #3

Hello cuties! Today I have a very special quote that, in my opinion, describes my fashion sense/style.

It is by Alli Simpson (Cody Simpson's sister) and it has been going around for some time now.

I don't think this quote needs much explanation as it says it all. Very bohemian and beachy right?

So do you agree or not? Please tell me in the comments!

   Lots of love,
   Bohemian Patricia :)

My Monday Inspiration: Kendall Jenner

Hello lovelies! Today I have another "My Monday Inspiration". This time it is about Kendall Jenner.

Kendall (and Kylie) are some of my ultimate style inspirations as I think they both dress gorgeously and they know what fits them better. Today, however, I'll be talking about Kendall, the older one.

Kendall has a very versatile style as she wears fancy clothes to important events but also dresses very bohemian and californian-ish.

  • So in these first pictures we see Kendall in fancy clothes. However, not the type of fancy she would wear to the red carpet, more like a "casual fancy" (if that makes any sense....). She is wearing pants and flowy tops, which compliments her body type as she is very tall and elegant. I think this look is perfect for a day spent at work and if you don't feel like wearing heels you can always put on some black flats and you are good to go!

  • In this picture Kendall is rocking her bohemian side. First of all, I adore the chain thing she is wearing on her head- it looks so good and makes the outfit stand out. She is also wearing a cropped t-shirt, which is almost a statement piece in Kendall's wardrobe, as she is seen a lot in these, and black pants/ leggings, another "Kendall piece". This is her typical day-to-day look and is perfect for everyday wear.

Kendall has a very simple style but I think is one of the prettiest I've ever seen. She also has a great swimwear taste but I'll do another post on it later.

I hope you enjoyed today's post and feel free to leave any suggestions in the comments!

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

Review: Mavala's Nail Hardner

    Hello cuties!

I love all kinds of beauty related things, from skincare to make-up and even fashion. However, my all time favorite "beauty thing" is nails. I adore nails and I always have so much fun shaping mine and painting them.

I have had them in all shapes and sizes: squared, almond and now I have been trying to let them grow in a stiletto shape.

The problem is, of all the nail shapes I have tried, the stiletto one is hardest to maintain as the nails need to be extremely long and they tend to break easily, which results in me having one nail short and the other ones super long. Not cute, believe me.

I always knew I didn't want to do acrylics because they are very expensive and, in my opinion, not worth it as your real nails will look awful once you remove the acrylics. Therefore, I needed to find an excellent nail hardner. That was when I found the Marvala's Nail Hardner, my baby.

As you can see it comes in a very small bottle and it costs around 11 euros. It seems like a lot but these little bottle will last you a long time because you only need a tiny bit to put in each of your nails and you only use it once a week, on bare nails.

It has a minty scent which I find pleasent because it is not too strong and it doesn't stay on the nails.

So what I basically do is, once a week, (when I change my nail polish), after shaping my nails, e coat them with this product and you will notice that it sinks into your nails right away so you don't need to wait for it to dry or anything like that, which is good, and then I paint them normally.

It is amazing and I haven't tried any nail hardner that has worked as well as this one. I haven't had a problem with my nails breaking since I started using it and now I can finally keep my nails in a stiletto style without having to be careful with my hands.

I would give this product a 5 out of 5 stars and I cannot recommend it enough.

I hope you liked this post and please let me now if you try this product.

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

Now Trying: Herbal Essences Shampoo

   Hello lovelies!

So today I went shopping with my momma and I picked up a new shampoo. I, unfortunetely, have a really "picky" hair. Most shampoos don't work on me or they make my scalp itchy and oily. Therefore, for the past few years, I've been using high-end products on my hair, like Bead Head and Rusk, but the problem is those products are very epensive and, although they are pretty amazing, they last as long as a drugstore product.

I ran out of shampoo this week so I needed a new one and I decided I would give Herbal Essences a try as I used to love their shampoos as a kid and they didn't use to irritate my scalp.

I ended up choosing the one below (but I only bought the shampoo) and I am thinking of trying the rest of the line.

This shampoo also smells amazingly which is a plus! I will let you know if I like it and fingers crossed I do because I don't want to spend 20 euros on another shampoo!!

Have you tried any herbal essences products? Please tell me in the comments!

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

Loves of the Week #3

Hello sweethearts! Today I have another "Loves of the week" post. This week was absolutely crazy, I had so much to do I didn't stop for a minute. But it was amazing.

So here are my favorites for this week:

   1. First I have a movie. This week I went to the cinema with my friends and we watched World War Z. It was a little bit scary and, I'll admit, it was hard falling asleep that night. But the movie itself was so well done it made me believe all of that was real! And, believe me, that is hard. And can we just take a moment to talk about how sexy Brad Pitt looks?! Oh... He is such a cutie!

   2. My second favorite is the outfit you can see in the picture. The black tank top is from a store called Pimkie and the bright, neon yellow shorts are from Stradivarius. I wore it to dinner on Wednesday and now that I am a little more tan I think it looked lovely.

   3. Next I have tumblr. Oh... How I love tumblr! I just find myself spending hours and hours there, just scrolling and reblogging! It's amazing!

  3. Lastly I have this adorable tumbler. I love tumblers. They are just so easy to carry around and great to take to the pool/ beach or even to just walk around the house with. This one I got from the disney store and I am completely in love with it. It's just so cute!!

So these are my favorites this week! It's super strange that I don't have a nail polish favorite but I just repainted my nails with Essie's "Peach Daiquiri", which was included in my first "Loves of the Week" so I thought it was useless to re-mention it.

I hope you had a lovely week and please tell me in the comments which were your favorites!

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

Throwback Thursday: Chartreuse (Color)

Hello lovelies! Today is Thursday and you know what that means? Time for another "Throwback Thursday" post!

Today I have an interesting one (at least in my opinion).

Last year, in the spring/ summer time, everyone was going crazy with a color, a very unique one. Nail polishes, clothes, accessories, this color seemed to be everywhere! And this color is Chartreuse.

As you can see in the image, this is a very green/ yellow toned color and it is definetely different from everything you normally see. Maybe that is why everyone was so excited about it.

Well, this color didn't, of course, disappeared or anything like that but the thing is, it stopped being everywhere. People stopped talking about and I had totally forgot about its existance until I started to wonder what to talk about in today's blog post.

Isn't it funny how something is so fashionable at one moment and so "last year" a few months past?

However, similar colours are still on like the neon yellow and green, but this specific one, chartreuse, is totally out of sight.

I hope you enjoyed this "Throwback Thursday" and tell me if you were also crazy about this color in the comments.

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

Review: "La Roche-Posay" Effaclar Duo

Hello sweeties! Today I bring you a review of a product I have been trying for the past 4/5 months.

I do not think I've mentioned it before here but I have always struggled with acne. Not extremely bad acne but bad enough to make me feel shy and not confident about my skin.

For the past few years, 3 or 4, I have tried pretty much everything there is, from Clearasil to Eucerin and even some Body Shop tea tree products. I have liked them all, as they all reduced part of my acne. However, if I ever went a few days without them the breakouts would come back and they would take forever to go away.

In January I ran out of "fighting acne" products so I started using Halibut on my spots and it also worked. But, once again, it just wasn't good enough.

Luckly, my mother had arranged a meeting with a dermathologist in the beginning of February and I asked which product she recommended for acne and she told me to buy this one:

Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this cream. It is amazing, perfect, the ideal product!

I started using it in February and it worked right away. Now, my acne has completely faded and I only have hormonal breakouts (when that time of the month comes...) and, even then, there are little, almost invisable ones.

I used to use it every single night but now that I don't have any pimples I just use it when one decides to appear.

I would reccommend this product if you have acne prone skin or even if you only have hormonal breakouts.

I hope you enjoyed this post and tell me if you have tried this product and if you like it!

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

Tuesday's Quote #2

Hello lovelies! I hope you had/ are having a wonderful day because mine was pretty amazing as the whether has been beautiful here. For this week's "Tuesday's Quote" post I brought one I found on tumblr yesterday and had to share with all of you.

This quote is so so true. To be honest, I feel like you just need to read it once to realize that is true that the real beauty is a mix of the best you can look outside and the best you can be as a person.

So invest on how you look, with make-up and lovely clothes, but don't forget to pay attention on how you are growing as a person. Because even thought you stop growing at the age of 18, your personality keeps on changing as long as you live.

I hope you liked today's post and don't forget to tell me what you think in the comments!

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

My Monday Inspiration: Ariana Grande

Hello dear readers! For this week's "My Monday Inspiration" I have the lovely Ariana Grande. Ariana is my all time favorite artist. She is just so adorable and has a great voice. Her style is also amazing so I decided to include her in these series.

Ariana's biggest style inspiration (or one of the) is Audrey Hepburn. Therefore, her style is based in the 20's, but is almost like a modern version of it.

  • First of all, Ariana's style includes a lot of floral patterns. She is all about them. Most of her clothes have flowers in pastel colours, like marshmallow white, light pink, baby blue... I do think Ariana is one of the few artists that can rock this pattern, because it generally looks a bit childish on others. But not on ariana!
  • Also, Ariana has two statement hair styles. The ponytail, which she used to wear a lot more a few years ago, and the half-up half-down, which is the hairstyle she is wearing in the first picture. Ariana always wears this hairstyle and it looks so good on her.

  • In this two pictures we can see that Ariana also has an obsession with dresses. She obviously wears them mostly to red carpet events but a lot of the time you will see her with more casual ones just out and about. Once again, we can see, in the second picture, that Ariana is wearing her favorite hairstyle, the half-up half-down. She used to wear a lot of bows on her hair, as well, like in the second picture, but she doesn't wear them as much anymore.

  • Lastly, Ariana also loves to show her fit tummy. She recently started to wear a lot of cropped tops, either for normal days, like in the first picture, or for performaces, like in the second one. Although in the first picture she is wearing jeans, she tends to wear cropped tops with high-waisted shorts or circle skirts. It is just more her style and, in my opinion, this type of outfit is the one that suits her best and she always looks lovely when wearing it.

I hope you enjoyed this week's "My Monday Inspiration" and feel free to leave in comments any suggestions you may have for next week's one. I would love to know who is your style inspiration!

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

Loves of the week #2

Hello everyone! I hope you had an amazing week. Mine was very fun and I am so glad because I got to hang out with one of my great friends that I hadn't seen in ages.

Today I have the second "episode" of my series "Loves of the week". So here are my favorites:

   1. This week I discovered my new televison obsession. It is a show called Devious Maids. At first, I wasn't too thrilled with the plot, but I decided to watch the first episode anyways. I am so glad I did because now I am totally addicted to it! And it is good because since 90210 is over and The Carrie Diaries is on hiatus, I didn't have any fun tv-shows to watch and I was feeling very bored. I would recommed you to check out this series, it is amazing!

   2. Secondly I have this song, by Selena Gomez. I don't know if you heard it yet but it is pretty amazing. Very fun and perfect for a party or to dance by yourself when no one is watching. I seriously can't wait for her album as I am loving all her new songs.

   3. For nail polish I have this one from Kiko, in the colour 359. I love this colour. It is a beautiful peachy orange and it's perfect for summer. It also looks great with tanned skin. The formula is amazing and the prices for these nail polishes are pretty affordable. I have some and I never had a problem applying them. One coat is all you need but I normally put on a second one just to make sure it lasts an whole week (I do not use top coat and it lasts 1 week with no chipping). The only downside is the nail polishes don't have names. That would make them a lot more fun.

   4. My last favorite is sushi! Oh... How I love sushi. Honestly, I could live out of sushi if I had to. It's just so good!! This week I had sushi two times and that is why I am including it in this week's favorites, even though I have loved sushi for years.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this post and tell me which were your favorites this week. I would love to know.

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

Throwback Thursday: Gossip Girl

If you have instagram you know that thursdays are special as everyone rushes to find cute old pictures to hashtag with Throwback Thursday.

That being said, I decided it would be fun to do the same thing in my blog. It can be a throwback of any kind: fashion, make-up, music, televison...

Today, I have gossip girl as a throwback. This tv-show was literally my life. I loved it. I watched every episode and even though it changed a lot throughout the years, I kept on loving it.

So, in this collage, there is a picture of my favorite couple if the series (Chuck and Blair) and a picture of my favorite characters, Blair and Serena.

Chuck and Blair, Blair and Chuck. Oh... They were just so perfect. Their relationship was the kind of relationship every girl secretly wants. They were fierce and fabulous and so different and unique.

Blair and Serena, on the other hand, were the type of bestfriends you would not want to have. But they were so lovely at the same time they made you think that maybe, just maybe, having a friend like that was what you needed.

Personality wise, Blair was always my favorite character. She was so elegant and unique and she kind of reminds me of myself (but, don't worry, I am not mean). In the beginning she was also my style inspiration as I always loved the 20's and that kind of look. However, I do think her fashion sense decreased in the last 2 seasons. I mean, it was still great, but just not my cup of tea.

Serena, on the other hand, was the character I didn't really like at first, but began to love her. Her personality, in the beginning of the show, did not attract me and she wasn't that stylish.

However, as the tv-show went by, Serena changed a lot. She grew as a person and her fashion sense increased a lot. In the last seasons, she was definetely my fashion inspiration as her style was very bohemian but, at the same time, super elegant and chic. And that was why I began to love her. Besides, Blake Lively is beautiful.

I hope you liked this post and tell me, did you like Gossip Girl or that show wasn't your cup of tea? It was definetely mine :).

   XOXO,
   Patricia :)

Flower Crown Obsession

I seem to be attracted to flowers as I found a new flower related obsession. This time, it is not a pattern in clothes, but an accessory obsession. Flower Crowns.

They have such a vintage look and they look good in everyone! I really really want one and I have been looking everywhere for the perfect one. Claire's has some cute ones so if I were you I would check their website for more information :)

So here are my favorite pictures with flower crowns that I have discovered so far:

In these pictures you can see very big flower crowns. This ones are the hardest to wear everyday as they are very fluffy and have a bunch of big flowers. However, I believe they are perfect for a dinner on the beach with your friends in a casual but still cute outfit, or even for going out at night. The only rule is that you can't dress to fancy as the vibe that these big flower crowns give is a more chilled, relaxed one.

On the other side, in these pictures you can see thiner flower crowns, which are much easier to wear and you can totally wear them on a daily bases, to lunch or to go shopping. They just add something extra to your hair and outfit but they don't stand out to much. The perfect example is the first picture, the one where Selena (I definetely have an obsession with her style...) is rocking one with a very casual, everyday outfit. These flower crowns are also easier to find and I believe you will be able to find them at almost every clothes/accessories store.

So, what do you think about this accessory? Yay or Nay? For me, it is definetely a yay, I find them so beachy and cute.

I hope you enjoy this post and leave in the comments any suggestions you may have for future posts :).

   Lots of love,
   "Flower obsessed" Patricia :)

Tuesday's Quote: Style

Hello everyone! Today I was scrolling my facebook page when I saw this quote and I thought it would be the perfect one to start my Tuesday's series. Every Tuesday you will be surprised with a different quote. All positive and happy ones as I believe that those are the ones that truly inspire us.

This one is about style and I think that it is so so so true. In reality, style isn't about coping others, it is about wearing what you want, what you like. And it is true that we get inspiration from various places, like celebreties or even friends, but that also happens in our daily life. We are inspired by the people we love but we do not copy them.

I feel like that is style. Being inspired by your everyday life, by what you like and what you don't like. By who you are and by who you always dreamed you could be.

So be different, be who you are and dress up as you wish.

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

My Monday Inspiration: Selena Gomez

To inspire you all to look cute and fashionable for the week, I decided I want to start a series called "My Monday Inspiration". So, every single Monday, I will chose a person and talk a little bit about their style.

This week's it girl is Selena Gomez. To be honest, I didn't use to pay much attention to her clothes, as I always thought they were not my style, at all. However, for the past year or two, Selena always gets my attention when it comes to fashion (and music, to be honest). She completely changed her style and is now very bohemian, which I love. She also looks a lot more confident, which I appreciatte in fashionistas as I believe that you should be confident in your clothes to be able to rock them.

Although Selena's style is very bohemian and laid-back, she always looks fabulous and elegant and I also love her red carpet looks. They are always so fun.

So here are some of my favorite "Selena looks":

  •  In this outfit Selena looks very polished and elegant. It is not very bohemian but it's definetely classy. Perfect for a date or a meeting or even a normal work day. And it is not too formal as she paired the blazer with jeans, which lays it back a little bit.

  •  In these three pictures Selena is definetely rocking the bohemian style. She looks very laid-back but elegant at the same time. She also seems to enjoy pairing her outfits with fun accessories like the sunglasses she is wearing in the second picture, which make the outfit stand out and look a little more polished.

  • Finally, these two are my favorite outfits. They are both extremely bohemian-chic and they both include printed pants, which are very summery and comfortable but fashionable at the same time. With the bright, fun pants Selena paired neutral pieces which I love because it makes the pants stand out.

I hope you liked this post and please leave suggestions of people you would want to see feautured in my "My Monday Inspiration".

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

Sunflower Obsession

If you didn't know I am a tumblr addict. I love it and I always go in there for inspiration.

Recently, I found myself reblogging a lot of images based on sunflowers. From clothing pieces to beautiful fields covered in these beauties. So I decided I would show you some of my favorite things I saw here and there that contain this summery flower.

   1. In the first picture you can see a beautiful field covered in sunflowers. I WANT to live in a place like this. It seems so calm and quiet, the perfect place to spend my summer vacations. Just imagine running free in that field, covered in yellow and green... Oh, so lovely!

   2. OMG, let's just take a moment to look at this beautiful one piece swimsuit. Like, I need it now! I wish I knew where it is from because I would run to the store to get it. It is just so pretty and unique and, in my opinion, it has a vibe to it that not a lot of swimsuits have. Of course that if you don't like one piece swimsuits you will probably dislike this piece but I personally love them! I feel like they are so classy and elegant!

   3. Finally, this pair of shorts is just adorable. I have seen them around but I do not have a pair of my own, although I wish I did. They are so summery and boho-chic. Perfect for a day in the mall, or a morning on the beach or even a lovely dinner outside!

I hope you like this post and, please, tell me which is your favorite flower? Mine are obviously sunflowers, they are so pretty!!

   Lots of love,
   "Sunflower obsessed" Patricia :)

Loves of the Week

So I decided I want to do a small series on this blog in which I talk about my favorite things of the week. This series will be up every single friday :).

So here are my faves, I hope you enjoy:

   1. Fashion: My favorite outfit of the week is the one I am about to show you. It is very boho-chic and light, perfect for summer. It is also, in my opinion, fashionable and you can wear it everywhere. I, for instance, wore it for a dinner I had this Wednesday, and all my friends liked it :)

As you can see, the skirt is from a boutique and I do not remember its name but the crop top is from H&M and it was super affordable, which is great.

   2. Daily life: For my everyday routine I have been loving to go to the beach. With friends, with family, I always have so much fun. I have also got a little tan which is good because I am normally as pale as snow. BUT, do not forget to use sunscreen, it is extremely important!

   3. Nails: For my nails I have been LOVING "peach daiquiri" by essie. It is a super fun, wearable colour and it is perfect for summer because it is very bright. It is also great if you don't like crazy colours because it has a lot of pink in it, which makes it very classy. I personally love it. I wear it especially on my finger nails but I think it is also pretty cool for your toes.

   4. TV: Finally, for televison favorites I have Pretty Little Liars. I don't know what it is about that show but it doesn't matter how many seasons go by I am always sucked in. I love the plot twists and I also adore the fashion in it. This month pll has come out with its 4th season and it has been amazing so far. I love it

I hope you like this little series and please leave your weekly favorites in the comments because I would love to know them :)

   Lots of love,
   Patricia :)

Confidence

Being confident is something I have struggled with my whole life. It always seemed to be so easy for others to look confident but as I tried I realised it wasn't, at all, simple.

My body wasn't my biggest struggle, my skin was. Unfortunately, I have oily, acne prone skin. Throughout the years, I have had times when I had lots of spots, and big ones, and times when I had nearly none. However, my skin was never perfect, as it had some scars from previous spots.

To cover that up, I used to always wear make-up. Not that much, just foundation, concealer, bronzer and mascara, because in my school we are not allowed to wear bold lipstick or blush.

What happened was that, since I always used that many products on my face, on a daily bases, when there was a party or when me and my friends went clubbing, I felt the need to use eyeliner, lipstick and eyeshadow. I did not think that was too much until I started going out with these girls that did not put ANYTHING on their faces and still looked gorgeous. I wondered what was wrong with me, why couldn't I be like them, but realised that I was the type of girl that needed to wear tons of make-up to look good, or at least decent.

Well, about a month ago I went to a friend's dinner party. I wasn't even going out, but I put on lipstick, tons of eyeshadow and eyeliner and blush.

When I got there, most girls weren't wearing make-up, but what got my attention was this girl I am friend's with, that spent the night talking to me. She wasn't wearing ANY make-up, not even a tiny bit of bronzer, and her sking looked absolutely flawless.

I do not know why but that changed my opinion on myself. I decided that I was not going to wear make-up to school, only to dinners and parties and, even then, I was going to reduce the amount of products I was putting on my skin.

I am not going to lie. At first, it was hard going to school with nothing on my face. I felt like everyone was looking at me and it was uncomfortable. However, after about a week, I was used to it and it wasn't hard at all.

The problem came when, one morning, my skin, out of the blew, broke out insanely. I had three huge spots and some small ones and I had to go to school that day. All I wanted was to cover myself up in make-up, but I had promised myself I wouldn't do that. So I gained courage and went to school like that. It was one of the most terrifying moments of me life, but, fortunately, it worked out pretty well. No one made rude comments or said anything and I felt good not wearing make-up. I felt lighter and more me.

Since that day, I haven't wore make-up, not even to dinner parties and I feel so much better about myself. I feel pretty and natural, which is good I guess.

I wrote this post because I know a lot of you feel the same way I did, like you need to wear make-up to look good, but you don't. Now it bothers me how girls feel like they need to wear eyeliner to school to look good because you seriously DON'T! You are beautiful and putting crazy amounts of make-up on your skin will only make it worse. Believe me, I was just like you. I couldn't leave the house without at least foundation and bronzer and now I leave the house bare face and I don't have any problems with it.

I would recommend for you to start by reducing the amount of products you use on your daily routine, if you think you can't just cut on everything at once. You will feel so much better afterwards, believe me :)

I hope this post helped some of you,
   lots of love,
   Patricia :)
